Imre Csuja: Imre Csuja biographical stand up est
Imre Csuja takes on a daring adventure: for the first time, he stands up on stage to tell about his life. The Jászai Mari Prize winner, worthy artist, joins colleagues in the Egy Életem biography stand up series such as Zoltán Mucsi, Szabolcs Thuróczy, Alexandra Borbély or Ervin Nagy.
The EgyÉtem series is a mix of stand up and biographical play. The main characters tell the most important events of their lives in a humorous, self-ironic form. The script is written here by life. The evenings are in a cheerful mood according to the genre of the stand up, but the main characters also tell about the difficult or emotional moments of their lives. Because they're the only ones that can make their lives complete.
Did you ever think that Csuja Imre Törőcsik learned how to drive an Icarus with a rear-engine, or that he worked as a transporter and market vendor when he played in rural theatres, or that he shared a scene with Donald Sutherland and Brad Pitt in American films? Or was there a day in his life when he played four different theatre performances? And that the most important director in his life was his mother? He talks about all this at his biographical stand up evening. Just as the Chocolate of the Glass Tiger will find out why Babetta fell in the iconic scene of the film, or how to drink the famous fruit, so that all the brandy doesn't flow into our necks.
Few actors have worked more for success than Imre Csuja. He has actually walked through the donkey ladder before he was discovered and became a popular, successful artist. But he has remained an endlessly friendly and lovable man. He proves this on this evening as well. Once a director explained to him a long time ago at a rehearsal, what he was supposed to do on stage. Chuja listened quietly, nodded and replied: "Tomorrow I will send the instinct to him!"
You can be sure that on this evening of the theater, Imre will not hold back and send his instincts to him, and we, spectators, can only rejoice!
